West Ham United clearly mean business in the summer transfer window, after somewhat of a stuttering start.
Julen Lopetegui and Tim Steidten are working in tandem to build an exceptionally gifted group of players at West Ham.
The Hammers’ transfer window is bursting into life with with moves for Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Crysencio Summerville thought to be imminent, and an apparent deal for Baris Alper Yilmaz a possibility as well.
Lopetegui will be fully aware that more new additions are required though, namely the signing of a new striker.

Niclas Fullkrug is someone who’s believed to be West Ham’s main striker target this summer, and it was recently claimed that personal terms and the structure of the fee were still yet to be agreed upon.
However, it now seems like things have progressed significantly…
Niclas Fullkrug flying in on private jet to complete West Ham move
The big German is the ideal striker for the Hammers.
Sure, he’s 31, and it’s a big shame that he’s not four or five years younger, but for the next two seasons, he should be able to do a very good job for us.
He was in fine form for Borussia Dortmund last summer, and racked up 15 goals and 10 assists in 43 appearances in all competitions.
Now it seems like Fullkrug’s move to West Ham could be imminent.
That’s because Hammers insider Sean Whetstone is claiming that the Borussia Dortmund striker is flying over to London on a private jet today to complete his move to the London Stadium.
That to me seems like the deal to bring Fullkrug to East London is all but done.

I’ve voiced my concerns about us signing an ageing striker recently, but the Germany international possesses real quality.
And he could well be the perfect striker to operate just in front of Jarrod Bowen, Mohammed Kudus, Lucas Paqueta and maybe Crysencio Summerville as well.
These are really exciting times for West Ham, and the signing of Niclas Fullkrug should be viewed as very good business for the club, if we manage to bring him in for a reasonable fee of course.
After Whetstone’s update, the transfer could well be imminent.
