West Ham United seemingly could beat one of our Premier League rivals to the January signing of a Brazil international midfielder.
David Moyes needs to make a top-class central midfielder signing for West Ham in the January transfer window.
The Hammers manager has zero cover for Edson Alvarez, and we miss the Mexican ace badly when he’s unavailable for selection.
Andre Trindade of Fluminense is someone who Moyes has been tracking for quite some time now, and it was claimed back in the summer that West Ham were expected to have a bid accepted for the Brazil international.
However, things took a twist earlier this week, after it was claimed that Fulham could beat us to the 22-year-old’s signature this month.
That was really bad news because Andre would be the perfect summer signing for the Hammers, what with his tenacious tackling and suitability to the Premier League.
Now though, it seems like the scales have swung back in our favour…

West Ham now in pole position for January midfielder signing
Brazilian media outlet Trivela claims that the Hammers could now beat Fulham to the Fluminense star’s signature this month.
The 22-year-old defensive midfielder would be a tremendous addition to Moyes’s ranks at the London Stadium.
Fluminense expert Rogerio Junior recently told Hammers News that Andre will be available for around £30 million, and that his playing style is perfectly suited to English football.
The Brazilian is a hard-working central midfielder who loves a strong challenge and the physical side of the game.
He is incredibly comfortable in possession of the football, and is a very good passer. In fact, the youngster is very similar to Edson Alvarez in the way that he plays.
West Ham signing Fluminense midfielder Andre for £30 million in the January transfer window would be incredible business for us as far as I’m concerned, it really would be.
There is no reason why Fulham should beat us to signings like this and judging by the latest claim coming out of Brazil, they won’t be. Happy days.
