David Moyes striker target Niclas Fullkrug doesn’t want to join West Ham this summer.
That’s according to DeichStube who claim that Werder Bremen striker Niclas Fullkrug has no interest in joining West Ham, given our current problems.

Worry not though Hammers fans – this is actually a blessing in disguise for us in my opinion.

David Moyes undoubtedly needs to bring a top class striker to the London Stadium this summer, with Michail Antonio and Gianluca Scamacca facing uncertain futures at the club.
And it seems as though Fullkrug will not be arriving at West Ham anytime soon…
Werder Bremen striker Niclas Fullkrug doesn’t want to join West Ham
DeichStube claims that Fullkrug doesn’t want to move to the London Stadium, or any Premier League club inside the bottom half of the table for that matter.
Fullkrug has bagged 15 goals and five assists in 24 Bundesliga goals this season (Transfermarkt).
He has also scored six goals in six appearances for Germany. That’s some record isn’t it.
However, I firmly believe that Fullkrug should not be a target for West Ham. So it’s actually good news that he doesn’t want to join us!
He is 30 now. Surely moving to the Premier League from the Bundesliga at that age would be a massive challenge?

Why is Moyes not targeting young and hungry forwards with a real point to prove? That is what he said he wanted to do after all. He hasn’t always lived up to that promise though…
The Scot made eight new signings in the summer transfer window but only two of them were under the age of 24 at the time – Flynn Downes and Gianluca Scamacca.
In my opinion, West Ham should avoid a move to sign Niclas Fullkrug this summer, regardless of whether Werder Bremen are prepared to sell him or not.
And with that in mind, the striker not wanting to join us should work out in our favour.
