An astonishing new video shows just how good West Ham star Kurt Zouma is looking after his ‘non-serious’ knee operation.
West Ham were rocked recently when it was announced somewhat out of the blue that Zouma has had a knee operation.
Although it is not saying much given West Ham are one point off the bottom three, Zouma has arguably been one of the club’s best and most consistent player this season. So news of his knee op came as a huge blow to David Moyes.
Particularly as the manager had to convince majority stakeholder David Sullivan – who had concerns over Zouma’s history of knee issues – to sign him from Chelsea for £29m.
Most knee ops requires lengthy rehabilitation, particularly for athletes looking to get back to performing at the highest level.

West Ham’s official update on the injury and operation was vague. And that gave rise to speculation that Zouma would be out for the rest of West Ham’s season.
Claims of a lengthy four to six month absence have been labelled ‘premature’ by key West Ham sources.
And reassuringly it was reported that Zouma did not have a major operation and that the club are ‘hopeful he will be back in the squad quickly’.
West Ham stars were pictured back at training in the last few days, including a happy Zouma just a week after his knee surgery.
Now an astonishing new video shows just how good West Ham star Zouma is looking after his ‘non-serious’ knee operation.
Behind the scenes footage posted by the club on YouTube shows Zouma arriving at Rush Green in a private car.

And West Ham fans won’t believe how freely the big defender is moving so soon after his surgery.
Zouma emerges from the car all smiles, jumps out and looks to be walking completely normally as he greets the staff.
The defender nods and smiles with his thumb up when asked how he is before responding: “You good?”
He certainly looks good with no signs that he is walking gingerly or having to take any particular precautions not to put weight on the leg.
The Hammers star is understandably not captured on camera involved in the training session as he will be doing his own programme of exercise individually with the physios.
But it is a huge relief and hopefully it is a sign that Zouma won’t be out for too long.
