West Ham fans should be very worried by what Jurgen Klopp just said about Jarrod Bowen

The West Ham fans need to be hugely concerned by something Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has said about our star man Jarrod Bowen.

Jurgen Klopp said just a few days ago that West Ham star Jarrod Bowen is his favourite player, aside from his own players at Liverpool of course (Daily Mail).

The 27-year-old has been outstanding for the Hammers this season, with 12 goals and four assists to his name already (Transfermarkt), and he recently suggested that he wants to stay at the London Stadium for many more years still to come.

Bowen recently signed a new seven-year deal with West Ham, and David Moyes suggested that the former Hull City man was more than deserving of that contract.

He is the most important player we have at the club, so the thought of losing him is a really worrying one.

With that in mind, Klopp’s recent comments on the Hammers forward will definitely concern the West Ham fans…

Jurgen Klopp raves about Jarrod Bowen

The Liverpool boss spoke to reporters earlier this week and offered huge praise for West Ham ace Bowen:

“Playing without Antonio, and Bowen steps up in that position. He is probably my favourite player besides all my players I have to say. It’s great what he is doing and how he has developed.”

Now, those comments really worry me, because Bowen may well be on the German’s radar as a possible replacement for Reds winger Mohamed Salah, if the Liverpool front-man leaves to join the Saudi Pro League.

Salah, 31, is obviously a world-class player, and Bowen isn’t quite on the Egyptian’s level just yet. However, the West Ham striker is an incredible player, and he is the third top-scorer in the Premier League this season.

The 27-year-old works unbelievably hard and on paper, he has everything that the Liverpool boss usually looks for in a player.

What Jurgen Klopp has just said about Jarrod Bowen sounds really ominous to me. That said, Bowen’s recent comments on wanting to see out his playing days in East London do comfort me somewhat.
