West Ham are set to be handed a very big injury boost ahead of our game against Burnley, according to club insiders Claret and Hugh.
The Hammers have had some rotten luck with injuries over the past month or so.
Angelo Ogbonna was ruled out for the season after suffering a serious ACL problem and then Aaron Cresswell picked up back injury away at Manchester City this time last week.
Yesterday, West Ham lost Ben Johnson and Kurt Zouma to injuries.
Losing so many defenders at the same period of time is a real concern for the Hammers. It seems as though there is some good news for us to digest though.
West Ham injury boost
The Hammers take on Burnley next weekend in what will be yet another huge Premier League game.
And David Moyes has some positive injury news ahead of the clash at Turf Moor.
Claret and Hugh claims that Aaron Cresswell is set to be back and available for selection having missed our games against Brighton and Chelsea.
The 31-year-old has been so important for West Ham this season. Not only from a defensive perspective but from an attacking one as well.
His delivery from corners and free-kicks is arguably the best in the Premier League.
When he doesn’t play, it is so noticeable just how much we miss him.
Having him back and available for our game against Burnley will be a massive boost, especially if Johnson and Zouma are ruled out.
Cresswell has improved so much under David Moyes over the past 18 months. He is now an absolutely vital player for West Ham. We need him back as soon as possible.
And it seems as though that is exactly what will happen.
