David Moyes needs to do something with West Ham United star Lucas Paqueta urgently, especially against weaker opposition.
Lucas Paqueta has been operating mostly as a left winger for West Ham this season, with David Moyes preferring a solid central midfield three.

The Hammers star has actually been in fine form, but I think it’s time for Moyes to make a really big change, with the huge clashes with Olympiacos and Nottingham Forest on the horizon.
Paqueta is prone to showboating at the wrong time and certainly in the wrong place, but Moyes surprisingly admitted that he likes watching the Brazilian entertain the fans.
In my opinion, the former Lyon star is far more effective when orchestrating proceedings from the middle of the park, and I firmly believe Moyes needs to move him back into that position for our next two games…

David Moyes needs to do something with West Ham ace Lucas Paqueta urgently
It’s all well and good setting up with Paqueta on the left and a midfield three of Edson Alvarez, James Ward-Prowse and Tomas Soucek when we’re playing the top sides in the Premier League, especially away from home.
However, that system is quite simply not good enough when we face weaker opposition at the London Stadium – it just doesn’t have enough creativity and guile to break teams down.
Moyes absolutely has to bring Paqueta back into central midfield alongside Alvarez and Ward-Prowse, with Soucek dropping down to the bench.
The Scot could then play a front three of Jarrod Bowen, Mohammed Kudus and one of Said Benrahma, Maxwel Cornet, Michail Antonio or Divin Mubama.
I would opt for Benrahma personally – he needs a run in the team and despite his poor form this season he’s still capable of making something happen from absolutely nowhere.
Olympiacos and Forest will undoubtedly both sit back and make it hard for us to break them down – just like Everton did at the London Stadium nine days ago.
It’s time for David Moyes to move Lucas Paqueta back into his best position, because we’re going to need his creativity and guile in the next two games if we are to win both of them.
