David Moyes could be saved from getting sacked as West Ham manager if he makes a really bold selection call in the next few weeks.

West Ham are in really poor form in the Premier League right now, with David Moyes having overseen a run of just one win and a draw in our last seven games.

The Hammers seem to be totally devoid of ideas, and it was recently claimed that the Scot is only a few defeats away from being sacked.

However, a top source inside the London Stadium has suggested that those claims aren’t entirely true, although it is clear that the poor league form absolutely cannot continue.

The fans have turned on Moyes again, and it’s his job to get them back onside. I believe there is one way for the West Ham boss to do that in an instant, and it involves talented teenager Callum Marshall

Marshall has been absolutely on fire for the under-21s this season, bagging 13 goals and two assists in just eight games so far (Transfermarkt).

He can play anywhere along the front-line, has really impressive pace and movement and is a truly brilliant finisher when presented with a goalscoring opportunity.

He is a truly elite talent, and has everything needed to succeed in the Premier League with the Hammers.

Some may say that playing a youngster in such a highly pressurised environment like the Premier League is asking for trouble, but listen, Moyes doesn’t have much to lose. What I can guarantee is that if he keeps selecting the same team and the same formation, nothing will change.

You know what they say – doing the same things over and over against whilst expecting different results is the definition of insanity.

That’s why Callum Marshall coming into the team could prevent David Moyes from being sacked. It would be a move that would instantly get the fans back onside. I’m not suggesting that Moyes starts him every single week, but he certainly should be included in the first-team squad and receive minutes from the bench.

Brighton did it with Evan Ferguson and they’re reaping the rewards. Now it’s our turn.
