West Ham youngster Sonny Perkins makes his mark for England under-18s

Brilliant West Ham youngster Sonny Perkins made his mark for the England under-18 side last night, scoring during their 3-2 defeat to the Netherlands.

The 17-year-old Hammers starlet is very highly rated at the London Stadium.

He has been in fine form for West Ham United’s youth teams so far this season.

The attacking midfielder, who can also operate up front, has bagged four goals in four games for the under-18s this season (Transfermarkt).

Perkins also scored for the under-23s against Liverpool last week.

David Moyes clearly has a very good young player on his hands.

The 17-year-old Hammers starlet scored a brilliant goal for the Three Lions under-18s against Holland last night.

Perkins possesses devasting pace and is a really good finisher.

He obviously isn’t ready for regular action with the West Ham senior squad just yet but when he fills out and improves upon his physicality, he will undoubtedly have a big part to play at the London Stadium.

And perhaps even for the England senior team as well!

The future is very bright indeed for Sonny Perkins at West Ham.

His goal for England under-18s last night will enhance his reputation further still.
