Brilliant West Ham youngster Sonny Perkins scored yet again for the under-23s against Manchester City yesterday.
The 17-year-old’s goal helped us win the game 1-0 and we now sit at the top of the Premier League 2 table.
Perkins has been in brilliant form of late.
The attacking midfielder, who can also operate up front, has bagged four goals in four games for the under-18s this season and has scored five in eight for the under-23s (Transfermarkt).
Perkins scored for the under-23s against Liverpool a few weeks ago and then bagged one for England under-18s nine days ago.
David Moyes clearly has a very good young player on his hands.

The teenager was in brilliant form once again as Mark Robson got off to a flyer in his first game in charge of the club’s youth team.
Perkins really has something special about him.
The 17-year-old possesses devastating pace and is a really good finisher.
He obviously isn’t ready for regular action with the West Ham senior squad just yet but when he fills out and improves upon his physicality, he will undoubtedly have a big part to play at the London Stadium.
If Perkins continues to work hard and applies himself properly, the sky will be the limit for him.
West Ham under-23s beating Manchester City yesterday was a fantastic result. And Perkins has made a real impression already for the u-23s.
The 17-year-old will have to keep producing the goods on a regular basis, however, if he has any chance of breaking through to the senior team.
