Talented young West Ham trio Jamal Baptiste, Harrison Ashby and Sonny Perkins could all start on Thursday night against Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League.
That’s according to Hammers insiders Claret and Hugh.
West Ham will finish at the top of Europa League Group H regardless of the result against Zagreb.
The Hammers have so many games coming thick and fast between now and New Year’s Day.
David Moyes’s men have eight fixtures to come over the next 27 days. The Scot will have to use his entire squad.
And Thursday’s Europa League game seems like the ideal opportunity to rest the entire first-team.
Young trio could start for West Ham against Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League
With David Moyes set to ring the changes on Thursday night, some of the under-23s could be in line for a run-out…or maybe even a start.
Claret and Hugh reckon that Jamal Baptiste, Harrison Ashby and Sonny Perkins could all start the game against the Croatian side at the London Stadium in the Europa League.
What a night it would be in East London if those three players do indeed get a start.
The future is very bright at West Ham.
We are currently sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League 2 table. Aside from the three aforementioned players, we have Armstrong Okoflex, Pierre Ekwah Elimby, Aji Alese, Emmanuel Longelo and Krisztian Hegyi to name but a few.
The young players are in good hands with Mark Robson at the helm.
David Moyes has proven that he is prepared to give youth a chance. The Scot will be keeping a very close eye on the under-23s throughout the season.
And it seems as though Moyes may well have a first-hand view of three of our young stars on Thursday night at the London Stadium.
