Every player, to a man, put in a real shift yesterday against the Blues, and Alvarez’s cameo appearance was a really impressive one. The Mexican has already made a huge impression on the West Ham fans.

The 25-year-old Hammers ace took to Instagram after yesterday’s 3-1 victory.

And Mohammed Kudus responded:

I mean, it could mean absolutely nothing. Alvarez and Kudus played together for years at Ajax.

However, it might just mean that the Ghanaian is pushing for a move to the London Stadium. He is obviously close with the Mexico international and I would be shocked if they haven’t been speaking to each other, discussing a potential transfer.

I would love Mohammed Kudus to join West Ham this summer, and his comment on the Edson Alvarez Instagram post could mean that he’s keeping a very close eye on the Hammers.

He’s said to be trying to force through a move to the London Stadium this summer.

Hopefully Moyes manages to push this one through.
