West Ham fans go wild on Twitter after Aji Alese goal for under-23s

Aji Alese scored an absolute wonder goal for West Ham United’s under-23s yesterday and some Hammers fans have taken to Twitter in reaction to the youngster’s brilliant strike.

The 20-year-old is an incredibly exciting young talent and it surely won’t be too long before he is a first-team regular for David Moyes at the London Stadium.

Crucially, he is a left-footed centre-back – something that makes him the ideal long-term replacement for Angelo Ogbonna.

Alese is incredibly strong in the air yet he is very quick along the ground as well.

Standing at 6ft 4in tall, Alese cuts a really imposing figure.

The 20-year-old hasn’t put a foot wrong at youth level for West Ham and next season could be a huge one for him as he looks to make a step up to the next level at the London Stadium.

Aji Alese goal stuns West Ham fans

The 20-year-old proved that he is so much more than a defender yesterday.

West Ham’s under-23s beat Swansea 4-2 in the Premier League cup and Alese scored an absolute wonder goal.

He certainly has something very special about him. The sky’s the limit for the young West Ham defender and he has all of the attributes required to reach the very top of the game.
