West Ham are keen to sign Sheffield United attacker Daniel Jebbison in January according to a report from TEAMtalk.
It is claimed that Liverpool, Everton and Brighton want the 18-year-old as well whilst Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig have all tracked him for more than 12 months.
West Ham boss David Moyes desperately needs to sign a striker in the January transfer window.
In fairness, the Scot should be targeting a top-class, proven centre-forward.
We wouldn’t be averse to the Hammers manager bringing in a young striker as well with one eye on the future, however.
West Ham eyeing Daniel Jebbison swoop
The talented teenage hitman is on the Hammers’ radar according to a report from TEAMtalk.
The Athletic reported back in the summer that Sheffield United rejected a £5 million bid from Everton for Jebbison.
Quite how much the Blades will demand for the 18-year-old in January is currently unclear. He really is an incredibly exciting talent though, so he definitely won’t come cheap.
Jebbison has been on loan with Burton Albion since the summer and has bagged six goals in 16 games so far (Transfermarkt).
The young striker has so many attributes that David Moyes loves.
He is absolutely rapid and is very strong considering the fact that he is still in his teens.
Jebbison would be a very exciting addition for West Ham. The Hammers have a long-standing tradition of giving young and talented players a platform to succeed.
And if Moyes manages to bring the Sheffield United starlet to the London Stadium for a reasonable fee in January, it will be a signing that the West Ham fans will undoubtedly be right behind.
