The Hammers welcome Chelsea to the London Stadium in the 12:30 kick-off tomorrow for what is a huge Premier League game for both sides.

West Ham desperately need a win having taken just one point from our last three Premier League games.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are currently sitting pretty at the top of the table, one point clear of second placed Manchester City.

It should be a great game of football at the London Stadium tomorrow. The West Ham players will have to be on their very best form if we are to topple the Blues.

Paul Merson predicts West Ham vs Chelsea

The west London outfit are hot favourites to pick up all three points tomorrow.

The Hammers can cause any side problems though.

And Merson told Sportskeeda how he believes West Ham could hurt Chelsea tomorrow afternoon at the London Stadium:

“West Ham have gone backwards ever since they got into the Premier League top four. They can’t seem to win a match now – they’ve failed to win their last three games. This is a big game for West Ham, though, and they will be tighter at the back than they were against Brighton. Chelsea got lucky against Watford this week and haven’t been at their best this week. I’d play Romelu Lukaku in this match – West Ham’s biggest threat comes from set plays and Chelsea could use a player of Lukaku’s build. Chelsea are not playing particularly well at the moment and this game could turn out to be a draw.”

Prediction: West Ham United 1-1 Chelsea

David Moyes will undoubtedly get the boys up for this game. A point against Chelsea wouldn’t be the worst result in the world.

If the Hammers are solid and well-organised though, we are more than capable of beating them.

Merson highlighted how we could cause the Blues problems from set-pieces. West Ham have been so strong from dead-ball situations all season long.
