The 28-year-old has been the target of heavy criticism in recent weeks but he answered his critics emphatically at the London Stadium yesterday.

Masuaku is what he is. Sometimes brilliant, sometimes incredibly poor. He does give his all for West Ham though and the celebrations after his goal yesterday proved just how much he is respected by his teammates.

Lingard clearly loved his time at the London Stadium and is allegedly keen to link up with David Moyes and the Hammers again next month (ExWHUemployee).

He is obviously still very close to the West Ham players.

Jesse took to Instagram yesterday to reply to Arthur Masuaku after he posted a message on the social media platform:

Lingard is now intrinsically linked with West Ham.

A return to the London in January seems like an absolute no-brainer for the 32-capped England international.

It’s a no-brainer for West Ham to re-sign him as well. It’s great to see Jesse still keeping in contact with the Hammers players on public forums.
