Aaron Cresswell put in a strong tackle on Jordan Henderson during the West Ham vs Liverpool clash at the London Stadium on Sunday.

Unsurprisingly, Jurgen Klopp and the Liverpool fans were calling for Cresswell to be shown a red card.
The simple fact of the matter is that not only did the 31-year-old win the ball first but his foot also bounced up off the ball and then struck Henderson’s leg.
Klopp is well-known for moaning and making up excuses after his Liverpool team have lost.

Conveniently though, he said he didn’t see Diogo Jota’s elbow on Angelo Ogbonna and the dive by Mohamed Salah before the Reds were added a free-kick from which Trent Alexander Arnold subsequently scored.
Meanwhile, West Ham boss David Moyes gave a much more classy post-game interview.
Everyone connected with West Ham backed Aaron Cresswell after his tackle on Henderson.

Well…almost everyone.

Putting up a still picture of the incident really is a poor show.
Anyone who understands the game knows that Cresswell’s tackle was a good one.
