West Ham United under-23s beat Crystal Palace 4-2 this afternoon.

In doing so, we stretched our lead at the top of the table over Tottenham to four points.

West Ham under-23s have been so impressive this season.

It was somewhat of a concern when Dmitri Halajko left his role as manager recently but Mark Robson stepped in and picked up where the Croatian left off.

The Hammers were at it again this afternoon, beating Crystal Palace 4-2 and one player stood out…not for the first time.

West Ham under-23s win 4-2 and 19-year-old stands out

Armstrong Okoflex has been an absolute revelation since joining the Hammers from Celtic in the summer.

What a player David Moyes has on his hands here.

The Dublin-born ace has 14 goals in 15 games to his name so far this season and three of them came this afternoon.

Okoflex scored a sensational hat-trick for West Ham’s under-23s against Palace.

Mark Robson’s side was understrength this afternoon. Four or five regulars were left out suggesting that they will be included in the Europa League squad on Thursday night.

So those who did play against Palace has to step up to the plate.

Okoflex did exactly that, and how.

The former Celtic ace seems to have all the attributes needed to succeed at the very highest level. He can play anywhere along the front-line and has a certain kind of je ne sais quoi about him.

David Moyes will be keeping a very close eye on the 19-year-old this season and it cannot be too long before he is regularly included in the first-team squad at the London Stadium.
