Rangers were taken into extra-time by Braga, after winning the match 2-1 on the night at Ibrox.

Kemar Roofe got the winner for Rangers in the 101st minute, however, as Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s men booked their place in the last four of the Europa League.

The Glasgow giants will travel to German to take on RB Leipzig on April 28th before welcoming the Bundesliga side to Ibrox a week later for the second-leg.

Rangers have been punching well above their weight in Europe this season and it really is great to see them doing so well.

Hammers boss David Moyes responded when a reporter told him that the Gers had won 3-2 on aggregate against Braga last night, as quoted via Sky Sports News (Friday April 15th, 7:08am):

“Rangers are through? Oh wow, great for Rangers, fantastic.”

After a fabulous European campaign for both West Ham and Rangers, an all-British final really would be the icing on the cake.

The Hammers and the Gers continue to surprise their opponents on the continent and many fans and pundits alike.

We wouldn’t be surprised at all if West Ham and Rangers meet in Seville in the Europa League final in May.
