The Hammers are in France ahead of our huge second-leg clash with Lyon tonight and the squad seem to be in fine spirits.

West Ham drew 1-1 with Lyon at the London Stadium last week and it was a decent result for us in the end.

David Moyes would have been happy with the fact that his team didn’t lose considering the fact that we had to play more than half the game with just 10 men.
The less said about the referee on the night Felix Zwayer the better. He was truly awful and isn’t fit to be an elite-level referee.
The West Ham players felt like they got the raw end of the deal. And hopefully they carry that siege mentality on into the game tonight.
West Ham ace Antonio speaks out ahead of Lyon Europa League clash
The Hammers hitman has a huge role to play for his team in France tonight.
He needs to hold the ball up when we are under the cosh and offer an outlet for our defenders.
A goal from our centre-forward would be nice as well!
Antonio spoke to reporters last night and promised that he WILL score against Lyon tonight, as quoted via WHUFC.com:

“It has been a while, but because it’s a big game, I’ve got a big occasion celebration, definitely! You’ll see it tomorrow once I’ve scored a goal! Basically I work quite hard to think of them! I look at certain things I think may go viral, but there are certain things I have to practise as well, like when I did the worm! Those are the type of things I do practise and hopefully it works out on the day. As long as I do my job on the field, the gaffer doesn’t mind it!”
A cynic might suggest that Antonio should spend that time working on his finishing!
With just one goal to his name since the turn of the year, the pressure is starting to mount on the 32-year-old.
Antonio has received plenty of criticism for his performances recently. He can silence his critics with a goal against Lyon at the Groupama Stadium tonight though.
And after making such a bold prediction, the heat really is on for Antonio now.
If West Ham are to beat Lyon in the second-leg Europa League clash tonight, we will need Antonio to be firing on all cylinders, that’s for sure.
