West Ham United may well miss out to Arsenal on the signing of Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans this summer.
That’s according to CBS journalist Ben Jacobs who claims that Tielemans wants to join Arsenal from Leicester City this summer.

Both West Ham and Arsenal are thought to be trying to prise the 25-year-old midfielder away from the King Power Stadium this summer (The Mirror).
Tielemans would be an exceptional addition for either the Hammers or Arsenal.
David Moyes desperately needs to bolster his central midfield ranks at the London Stadium with Mark Noble having left and Alex Kral returning to Russia after his underwhelming loan spell.

Tielemans wants Arsenal move
The Hammers are desperately trying to hijack the Gunners’ move to sign the 52-capped Belgium international (The Mirror).
It seems as though the North London outfit are in prime position to sign the Leicester ace though.
CBS journalist Ben Jacobs claims that Arsenal have agreed terms with Tielemans’ agent but are yet to lodge an official bid for the midfielder:
What a great signing Tielemans would be for West Ham. If Moyes manages to bring the Belgian to the London Stadium, it would be a real statement of intent from the Hammers.
Arsenal’s interest in Tielemans will definitely represent a very big problem for West Ham though.
The 25-year-old is a creative central midfielder with an exceptional range of passing. He is full of energy and has proven that he is very well suited to the English game.
Tielemans has bagged 24 goals and 24 assists in 157 games for Leicester (Transfermarkt).
The former Anderlecht and Monaco ace’s intelligence and awareness in possession would improve the attacking play of West Ham or Arsenal massively.
The Leicester Mercury recently described the 25-year-old as an ‘exceptional’ player.
He could be available for around £40 million this summer (The Sun).
That would represent good value for someone with the Belgian’s ability.
Unfortunately for West Ham though, it seems as though Arsenal are in a very strong position to win the race for the signing of Youri Tielemans in the summer transfer window.
