West Ham United allegedly could now face competition from Wolves for Middlesbrough star Isaiah Jones in January.
That’s according to a report from TEAMtalk who claim that West Ham could face stiff competition from Wolves for Jones’s signature.
Jones has been a key figure for Middlesbrough over the past year or two.

And his ability to play in two different positions, combined with his undoubted quality, has led to a clamour for his signature ahead of the January transfer window…
Wolves battling West Ham for Isaiah Jones
TEAMtalk reckon that the East London outfit face competition from the Black Country club for the 23-year-old’s signature.
Crystal Palace reportedly want to sign the Boro ace as well.
Michael Carrick allegedly wants to keep Jones as the Riverside though, such is his importance to the Middlesbrough team.
That’s a shame, because Jones would be an exceptional addition for West Ham.
Jones was in absolutely sensational form for Middlesbrough last season and he put in an unbelievable display against Tottenham in the FA Cup back in March.
The Lambeth-born ace was a key factor behind Boro’s memorable win over Spurs at the Riverside.
Jones bagged 10 goal involvements in 42 Championship games for Middlesbrough last season. This term he has three goals and three assists in 20 games to his name (Transfermarkt).
The 23-year-old is a right winger by trade but has operated mostly as a right wing-back for Boro, especially since last November. He can operate on either wing if need be.

That is exactly what West Ham need – someone who can play in two positions down the right hand flank.
Jones possesses blistering pace, exceptional dribbling ability and is incredibly strong. He proved that he has what it takes to succeed at the very highest level with his display against Tottenham earlier this year.
He was recently described as ‘unplayable’ by The Mirror.
Jones could be available for around £15 million according to a report from The Hartlepool Mail. That’s sensational value as far as we’re concerned.
Unfortunately though, it seems like West Ham face competition from Wolves for Isaiah Jones. And the fact that Carrick doesn’t want to sell the 23-year-old will make our task of signing him doubly hard in January.
