West Ham want to sign Isaiah Jones from Middlesbrough, but may have to wait until the summer of 2023 to make it happen.

That’s according to Football League World who claim that the Teesside outfit are reluctant to sell the 23-year-old London-born ace.

Hammers boss David Moyes was a really busy man in the summer transfer window.

The Scot brought eight new players to the London Stadium in the summer, whilst 10 players left. It was a huge turnover, but if truth be told, there are even more additions required, if West Ham are to challenge at the top end of the table over the next few years.

One of the positions where we are light is the right wing-back, or right midfield area. And it seems as though Moyes has a plan in mind to address that…

West Ham want to bring Isaiah Jones back to London

According to Football League World, West Ham are keen to sign the 23-year-old Boro ace, but may have to wait until next summer to do so.

We believe that Jones could end up being a truly stunning acquisition for West Ham.

Jones was in absolutely sensational form for Middlesbrough last season and he put in an unbelievable display against Tottenham in the FA Cup back in March.

The Lambeth-born ace was a key factor behind Boro’s memorable win over Spurs at the Riverside.

Jones bagged 10 goal involvements in 42 Championship games for Middlesbrough last season (Transfermarkt).

The 23-year-old is a right winger by trade but has operated mostly as a right wing-back for Boro, especially since Chris Wilder took over at the Riverside last November. He can operate on either wing if need be.

That is exactly what West Ham need – someone who can play in two positions down the right hand flank.

Jones possesses blistering pace, exceptional dribbling ability and is incredibly strong. He proved that he has what it takes to succeed at the very highest level with his display against Tottenham earlier this year.

He was recently described as ‘unplayable’ by The Mirror.

Jones could be available for around £15 million according to a report from The Hartlepool Mail. That’s sensational value as far as we’re concerned.

And we will absolutely love it if West Ham boss David Moyes brings Isaiah Jones to the London Stadium next summer.
