When will Luizao actually join West Ham, with a deal to bring the 20-year-old to the London Stadium apparently done and dusted?
And now a medical has been pencilled in for the ‘coming days’.
That’s according to a report from Brazilian outlet UOL who claim that Luizao’s move to the London Stadium is all but complete, subject to the completion of a medical.
Craig Dawson has been heavily linked with an exit from West Ham in January.
And if the 32-year-old does leave, it will be vital for David Moyes to bring in a replacement.

Now, the 20-year-old’s current deal with Sao Paulo expires on January 31st, according to a report from UOL.
As the Hammers will be signing him on a free transfer, there is no rush to meet any January window deadlines.
If his medical is complete before his contract expires with Sao Paulo, then Luizao should move to the London Stadium at the end of next month.
This exact date was reported by Goal Brasil last week.
Whether Moyes will look to make further centre-back reinforcements before then remains to be seen.
I guess much will depend upon whether Craig Dawson is sold at the beginning of the January transfer window or not.

And I think the Brazilian will be an excellent addition for the Hammers. The 20-year-old is an aggressive young defender whose playing style is quintessentially South American, what with his tenacity and aggression.
He’s a very good tackler and is commanding in the air. It does seem as though Luizao has all of the attributes needed to succeed in England with West Ham.
Let’s hope that this deal ends up being a masterstroke from David Moyes and Rob Newman.
