West Ham are ramping up their pursuit of Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen in the January transfer window.
Nuno Espirito Santo wants a new forward and potentially a new defender in the coming weeks to help get his side out of the relegation zone.
After the 2-2 draw between West Ham and Brighton, Nuno’s men find themselves four points behind Nottingham Forest in 17th, and are desperately waiting for reinforcements in January.

West Ham ready to launch Jorgen Strand Larsen bid as Wolves demands emerge
According to the Guardian, the Hammers are prepared to bring Strand Larsen to the London Stadium in January.
It’s understood that West Ham United are ready to launch an opening bid for the Norway international.
It would cost them £40million, which is less than the £45million Wolves wanted initially for Strand Larsen.
Strand Larsen will be the best striker West Ham have signed in years. He will save them from relegation… 😍
What do YOU make of this transfer?
However, it is unclear as to how much the Hammers are prepared to offer in their opening bid for the 25-year-old, but it is unlikely to match Wolves’ valuation.
Along with him, the London outfit are also keeping tabs on Fulham attacker Adama Traore, who could leave Craven Cottage as his contract is expiring.
While Viktoria Plzen forward Rafiu Durosinmi is liked by West Ham, Nuno prefers players who have Premier League experience.

Will West Ham pay £40million for Strand Larsen?
There is an argument to be made by West Ham that Strand Larsen is clearly not what Wolves are asking for.
While at 25, he does have his best years ahead of him, scoring just three goals this season shows that he’s not having the best of times in the Premier League.
For a side desperate to avoid relegation, Strand Larsen does not scream as an obvious saviour for the Hammers.
However, if they can sign him for a discounted fee of around £20million, the board are expected to sanction it.
He would be an upgrade on Callum Wilson and his arrival would see Jarrod Bowen playing in his preferred position on the right.
It remains to be seen if Strand Larsen is a West Ham player come the end of the January transfer window.
