West Ham United target Gerard Deulofeu has a pact with the Udinese owners to discuss a potential summer transfer away from the club in June.

That’s according to a report from Messagero Veneto who claims that Udinese owner Gino Pozzo will only look at selling the 28-year-old winger once this season is done and dusted.

Hammers manager David Moyes may well be keen to sign a top-class attacking wide player this summer with Andriy Yarmolenko set to leave the London Stadium on a free transfer.

Deulofeu is a name who has been linked with a move to West Ham consistently over the couple of weeks by the likes of Messaggero Veneto and Calciomercato.

And it seems as though we may well have a good chance of signing him…

West Ham target Deulofeu has pact with Udinese owner

According to a report from Messagero Veneto, the Spanish winger has an unwritten agreement with Udinese owner Gino Pozzo that he will be able to explore the possibility of leaving the Serie A club in the summer.

It is stated that Pozzo has said to the 28-year-old that he will look at offers for his services, but no earlier than June.

We think that the Udinese ace would be a smart signing for West Ham.

He is highly experienced and has the ability to change a game with a moment of brilliance. The Spaniard possesses exceptional technique and has high energy levels.

Deulofeu has been a huge hit in Italy, bagging nine goals and two assists in 25 Serie A games so far (Transfermarkt).

The 28-year-old can play anywhere along the front-line and that kind of versatility will undoubtedly appeal to Moyes.

He has been described as ‘sensational’ by the Independent.

Deulofeu earns around £60k-a-week at Udinese according to Messagero Veneto and he allegedly will be looking for a big increase on that salary.

He should be available for around £16.6 million in the summer according to Messaggero Veneto. That seems like good value to us. And as long as Moyes gets his priority signings over the line first and foremost, then bringing in Deulofeu as well would be sensible business.
