West Ham set to make £15 million Keane Lewis-Potter bid

West Ham United are allegedly ready to make a £15 million bid for talented Hull City attacker Keane Lewis-Potter.

That’s according to a report from 90min who claim that the 21-year-old Hull starlet is firmly on the radar of Hammers manager David Moyes this summer.

Moyes is desperate to bolster his attacking ranks at the London Stadium before the start of next season.

Michail Antonio has been West Ham’s only striker for the past 18 months and Andriy Yarmolenko has now been released from the London Stadium.

It has been a hallmark of his success throughout his managerial career. The best examples being the way in which he transformed Marko Arnatuovic and Antonio from wide players into potent threats through the middle.

And Lewis-Potter certainly fits into that category…

West Ham ready to make Lewis-Potter bid

90min reckon that a £15 million bid for the 21-year-old Hull ace could be incoming from the Hammers.

And for that kind of money, we firmly believe that Lewis-Potter would be an exceptional addition to Moyes’s ranks at the London Stadium.

The 21-year-old operates mostly as a left or right winger but he can also play through the middle as a centre-forward.

He was on fire in League One for Hull in the 2020/21 season, bagging 13 goals and six assists in 43 league games (Transfermarkt).

Lewis-Potter is a real live-wire, has impressive pace and is a very good finisher. In many ways, he is similar to his old teammate Jarrod Bowen.

Ex-Hull boss Grant McCann recently described the talented 21-year-old as an ‘excellent player’ (Hull’s official website).

The young attacker seems to have all of the tools needed to go on and succeed in the Premier League with the Hammers.

And if West Ham do make a £15 million bid for Lewis-Potter, it will be interesting to see whether Hull City deem that as an acceptable offer or not.
