One West Ham United player is allegedly tempted to leave the London Stadium in the January transfer window.
West Ham boss David Moyes has a lot of work to do in the January transfer window, with numerous new signings needed.
However, there will probably be a few outgoings as well, with Hammers winger Said Benrahma one of the players being heavily linked with an exit.
The 28-year-old has been absolutely woeful for West Ham this season – a run of poor form that culminated with a real horror show at Anfield against Liverpool.
Benrahma is done at the London Stadium, I’m sure of it, and he could be heading for the exit door this winter it seems.
Lyon apparently want to sign him and he’s said to be keen on the move to the Ligue 1 club…

West Ham player open to January transfer window exit
According to a report from L’Equipe, the Algeria international is tempted by the idea of joining Lyon in January.
Lyon are currently just outside the relegation zone in Ligue one, and that’s only because they won their last three games! They’ve scored just 16 goals in 17 games so far this term, so are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements.
If we can get a decent fee for Benrahma, anything like £10-15 million, then David Moyes shouldn’t hesitate to let the lacklustre winger leave the club this winter.
The 28-year-old has been totally ineffective for West Ham this season, and if Moyes is to sign a new left winger with real pace, it will be handy to have some extra funds at his disposal, brought around by selling the former Brentford man.
This term, Benrahma has been given just 485 Premier League minutes, and only 1,022 minutes in all competitions (Transfermarkt).
During those outings, he has just one assist to his name and zero goals – an awful return for an attacking player.
The Algeria international is just not the player he once was and has been totally devoid of confidence all season long it seems.
An exit from the Hammers this winter will be the best outcome for all parties involved. And judging by the latest round of reports in France, Benrahma could well be set to join Lyon from West Ham in the January transfer window.
