West Ham United are looking to add an extremely experienced Premier League player to our ranks this summer.
The Hammers boss has recently been talking up the need for even more signings, despite having brought in eight new players already.
However, his main priority will be to move on some of the deadwood before the summer transfer window slams shut.
The Hammers head coach has made some truly fantastic signings this summer, including the likes of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Jean-Clair Todibo and Crysencio Summerville.
So is the prospect of more new additions a realistic one?

It seems like it most certainly is, with Lopetegui trying to seal deals for Carlos Soler and Galatasaray centre-back Victor Nelsson.
And now, the West Ham chief could bring a proven Premier League performer to the London Stadium as well.
West Ham in for Kieran Trippier this summer
The 33-year-old Newcastle full-back has already been fairly heavily linked with a move to the London Stadium in the summer transfer window.
The Telegraph are claiming that the Hammers are considering making a move for the England international.
Trippier played a key role for England out in the Germany at the Euros this summer, despite not being a first-choice starter.
He is obviously still a very good player, but faces an uncertain future at St James’ Park, with his contract set to expire in the summer of 2025.

In my opinion, Lopetegui should be prioritising strengthening his ranks in other positions between now and August 30th.
So is Trippier to West Ham a realistic option or more importantly, is he someone we should even be looking at in the first place?
Trippier – good or bad idea?
I have to say, I’d much prefer us to move for a younger full-back with big potential.
Two of our full-back options – Emerson Palmieri and Vladimir Coufal – are already on the wrong side of 30 as it is.
Don’t get me wrong, Trippier is proven at the very highest level. He’s won a La Liga title with Atletico Madrid and reached the Champions League final during his Tottenham days.
And it has to be said that the Newcastle man has been very good indeed since moving to St James’ Park from Atleti in January 2022.
He’ll be 34 in September though, and his decline will not be too far away, certainly from a physical perspective.
I think that West Ham should be looking to sign someone else other than Kieran Trippier, if Lopetegui really is in the market for another full-back.
