West Ham United head coach Julen Lopetegui has his eye on making yet another summer signing it seems.

Julen Lopetegui has been an incredibly busy man in the summer transfer window so far, and the West Ham fans are incredibly excited at what lies ahead.

The Hammers boss has recently been talking up the need for even more signings, despite having brought in eight new players already.

However, his main priority will be to move on some of the deadwood before the summer transfer window slams shut.

If West Ham can get rid of some of the big earners including the likes of Kurt Zouma and Danny Ings, we will have much more wriggle room during the final eight days of the transfer window.

And once Lopetegui manages to get rid of some of the fringe players at the London Stadium, he will be able to mount an assault on the transfer market once again.

He apparently has someone in particular lined up already…

The Spaniard is clearly intent on bolstering his ranks at the London Stadium beyond all comprehension.

After Lopetegui inherited an ageing an extremely unbalanced squad from David Moyes, he has gone about his business in a ruthless manner

And the group of players at his disposal now is unrecognisable from the one he started with back in July.

Now things could be set to get even better.

According to a report from The Guardian, West Ham are keen to sign Victor Nelsson from Galatasaray for around £12 million this summer.

This is a really interesting link because he’s not that well known, but he’s a very reliable player indeed.

He has been described as a ‘superb’ and ‘exemplary’ centre-back by Football Talent Scout.

The 12-capped Denmark international only stands at 6ft 1in tall – fairly short for a centre-back, but he has a great leap on him, and he’s very quick.

In 32 Super Lig appearances for Galatasaray last season, Nelsson averaged 1.4 interceptions, 3.3 clearances and four successful aerial duels per game (Who Scored).

The 25-year-old is a very solid all-round centre-back, and has proven during his time with Gala that he possesses the physical attributes required to succeed in the Premier League.

And I think that Victor Nelsson would be a very smart addition to Lopetegui’s ranks at West Ham this summer.
