West Ham now in talks to bring ex-Arsenal ace Konstantinos Mavropanos back to the PL

Dharmesh Sheth reckons that the Hammers are working hard to sign a central defender after the Maguire deal was called off.

The Sky Sports reporter tweeted:

The Greece international would undoubtedly be a great signing for the Hammers.

He could be available for just £17 million as well according to Bild – an absolute bargain!

The Bundesliga’s official website has described the Arsenal loanee as an ‘excellent’ defender as well as a ‘gladiator’. Standing at 6ft 4in tall, he is absolutely huge and is dominant in the air.

The Stuttgart ace is a top-class defender and possesses all of the physical attributes needed to go on and succeed in the Premier League.

Konstantinos Mavropanos would be the ideal long-term replacement for Angelo Ogbonna at West Ham, and signing him for just £17 million should be an absolute no-brainer for David Moyes this summer.
