Hammers boss David Moyes desperately needs to sign a new striker, with Gianluca Scamacca having left to join Atalanta, and Michail Antonio being linked with Wolves.

Foot Mercato reckon that the talented young Frenchman has opted to join the Hammers over the likes of Chelsea and Eintracht Frankfurt this summer.

What a huge boost that is for West Ham – Wahi is an absolutely electric striker.

The youngster possesses blistering pace and terrific movement. He is lethal in front of goal as well.

Last season, he bagged 19 goals and six assists in 33 Ligue 1 games for Montpellier (Transfermarkt).

Elye Wahi’s exceptional pace and incredible movement makes him an absolute nightmare for opposing defenders, and he’d provide West Ham with an entirely different option up front.

If the Hammers manage to sign him for just £30 million this summer, I think it will end up looking like a stunning deal for the club.
