Hammers boss David Moyes desperately needs to bring a top-class striker to the London Stadium this summer, with Gianluca Scamacca having left to join Atalanta.
And it seems as though Balogun could well be the man for the job…
West Ham plot truly stunning striker signing as Moyes battles two clubs for ‘elite’ Folarin Balogun
Calcio Mercato claim that West Ham are in a three-way battle with Monaco and Lens for the Gunners ace this summer.
Arsenal are said to be demanding £35 million for the United States international according to the Italian outlet.
Moyes just has to find a way of getting this one done asap.
Described by the Arsenal Way as an ‘elite finisher’, Balogun has the ability needed to really take West Ham to another level next season.
Make no mistake about it, the 22-year-old would be a truly stunning signing for the Hammers.

His pace, movement and finishing ability would make West Ham so much more of a potent force going forward. The 22-year-old bagged 21 goals in 37 Ligue 1 games for Reims last season (Transfermarkt).
Folarin Balogun would make West Ham a better team on the pitch, but also a more attractive prospect for sponsors off of it.
He is the face of the USMNT and is incredibly marketable across the pond.
Signing him from Arsenal for £35 million should be an absolute no-brainer for West Ham this summer in my opinion.
