However, it appears as though the Serbian’s stay in Turin could now be a short one, with Hammers boss David Moyes set to make another attempt to sign him.
Juventus are not prepared to let him go on the cheap though…
West Ham may only have to pay £20 million to sign ‘extraordinary’ Filip Kostic
According to Sky Sports, Juve could sell Kostic to the Hammers for as little as £20 million this summer.
The Serbia international is absolutely perfect for us, and would provide really strong competition for Emerson in the left wing-back role.
The Bundesliga’s official website described Kostic as a player with ‘extraordinary qualities’.

Sure, he’s 30, but that doesn’t mean he’s not good enough to play at the very highest level for at least another two or three years.
I’m telling you now that £20 million would be an absolute steal for the Juventus man. He hasn’t settled in Turin, but a fresh start with the Hammers could be just what he needs to reinvigorate his flagging career.
If West Ham sign Filip Kostic this summer, we’ll be a much stronger side as a result, there’s no doubt about that.
However, it remains to be seen whether the Hammers owners view £20 million for the 30-year-old as good value or not.
