West Ham have just made official bid for midfielder Klopp wants at Liverpool – Andre

The talented 22-year-old Fluminese midfield star is firmly on the radar of the Hammers this summer it seems.

Brazilian football journalist Lucas Pedrosa claims that West Ham have made a bid for Andre – one that matches the one made by Liverpool – but we will have to wait until January (when the Brazilian season has finished) before we can sign him:

Andre is an incredibly exciting young player, and if West Ham manage to sign him it would be a huge statement.

He is a defensive midfielder by trade but can operate as an orthodox central midfielder or even in more of an attacking role.

He has power, energy and athleticism in abundance and possesses exceptional technical ability. The South American seems to be perfectly suited to the Premier League as well, what with his tenacious and aggressive playing style.

If West Ham beat Liverpool in the race for his signature it will be a truly massive statement from the club.
