West Ham United have reportedly made a bold transfer deadline day enquiry for Manchester City star Kalvin Phillips.
That’s according to the Sun who unfortunately claim that Manchester City are refusing to let Phillips join the Hammers today.

Declan Rice is a huge fan of Phillips, 27, and has previously admitted that he loves playing with the ex-Leeds star (Leeds Live).
David Moyes bringing Phillips to the London Stadium before tonight’s 11pm deadline would be superb.
Unfortunately for us though, it seems as though we have no chance of making it happen…
West Ham make Kalvin Phillips enquiry
The Sun reckon that the Hammers have made a move to sign the 25-capped England international, as have Everton and his former club Leeds.
Phillips is exactly the kind of player we need right now.
Our current position in the Premier League table is obviously making it very difficult to sign any decent players though.

The 27-year-old ex-Leeds ace has struggled for minutes since moving to Manchester City.
But this is a decision that is clearly out of his hands. Pep Guardiola has already lost Joao Cancelo on deadline day and obviously does not want to lose another squad player.
Perhaps this is one that the Hammers can explore again in the summer transfer transfer window.
West Ham won’t be signing Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City on deadline day unfortunately.
