West Ham United are thought to be battling it out with Chelsea for the signing of Palmeiras youngster Luis Guilherme.
According to PL Brasil, Luís Guilherme’s agent met with representatives from West Ham and Chelsea last week.

And the Hammers and the Blues are said to be leading the race for his signature.

David Moyes clearly likes signing Brazilians. Lucas Paqueta and Luizao were both brought to the London Stadium by the Scot.
And now another one could be en route to East London it seems…
West Ham lead £52m Luis Guilherme race
The attacking midfielder, 17, is firmly in the sights of both the Hammers and the Blues.
And according to a report from PL Brasil, West Ham must present a proposal to Palmeiras before November 10th if we want to sign the attacking midfield starlet, with the under-17 World Cup set to kick off then.
R7 Esportes claimed last week that Chelsea have already offered €35 million (£30 million) for Guilherme. However, the Palmeiras president wants closer to €60 million (£52 million) including bonuses for the talented teenager.

London Insider have described him as a prodigy, as they’re bang on the money. The 17-year-old is an elite young talent.
Brazilian would be a real statement signing
The mere fact that Chelsea and Bayern Munich are in for the teenager tells us all we need to know about him.
He has already made 23 appearances for the Palmeiras senior side, and has really stood out. The South American is a cultured attacking midfielder who is at his best when operating in the number 10 role.
As you would expect considering where he’s from, Luis Guilherme always tries to entertain the viewing public and that in itself would instantly endear him to the West Ham faithful.
Let’s hope that Moyes manages to win the race for the teenage prodigy’s signature.
