The Hammers manager is expected to try and bring a top-class striker to the London Stadium in January.
West Ham desperately need to bring in more competition and cover for Michail Antonio.

It seems as though there may well be some outgoings before that happens though.
West Ham manager David Moyes could sell 29-year-old in the January transfer window
There are plenty of players who could be running out of time at the London Stadium.
The likes of Andriy Yarmolenko and Manuel Lanzini face bleak futures with the Hammers.
But Claret and Hugh reckon that Moyes will try to move on one player in particular in January – Ryan Fredericks.
Now, the 29-year-old is out of contract in the summer, so it remains to be seen whether any clubs will be prepared to pay a nominal fee for him in January rather than wait to pick him up on a free just six months later.

Fredericks hasn’t really lived up to expectations since joining West Ham on a free transfer in the summer of 2018.
The former Fulham man has actually been decent for us this season although his injury problems came back to haunt him last month.
He is now back fully fit but with Vladimir Coufal, the recent emergence of Ben Johnson and Harrison Ashby coming through the ranks, Fredericks is now surely surplus to requirements.
Claret and Hugh reckon that Moyes will try to find a buyer for the right-back in January.

And getting any kind of fee for the 29-year-old rather than losing him on a free would be a right touch.
