Alex Kral is likely to return to his parent club Spartak Moscow from West Ham United at the end of the season.

David Moyes brought Kral to the London Stadium from Spartak Moscow on a season-long loan on transfer deadline day in the summer.

The Hammers have an option to sign him permanently next summer for around £17 million (£12 million plus a potential £5 million in add-ons) according to ExWHUemployee.

Kral has only been given 255 minutes action by Moyes this season. Incredibly, 21 West Ham players have played more minutes than the 23-year-old so far this term (Transfermarkt).

It is clearly obvious to see that David Moyes simply doesn’t rate the Czech Republic international. If he did, he would have used him far more often than he has done this season.

And Kral’s days in the East End could very well be numbered…

West Ham will probably send Alex Kral back to Spartak Moscow

The Evening Standard claims that the 23-year-old midfielder is likely to return to his parent club Spartak Moscow in the summer.

Kral hasn’t really been given a chance to showcase his ability since joining West Ham.

Perhaps he just hasn’t cut the mustard during training.

If the 23-year-old is sent back to Spartak Moscow, David Moyes will have to sign two central midfielders at the very least with Mark Noble set to retire and Declan Rice’s future up in the air.

We think that sending Kral back to Moscow will be the right call. If he had anything about him, he would have been given more opportunities by David Moyes this season.

The Czech international obviously isn’t good enough to be playing regular Premier League football. And with Moyes planning a summer overhaul at the London Stadium, it appears as though the poodle-haired midfielder’s time at the club is nearing an end.
