West Ham United have just been handed big Wilfried Gnonto as Leeds United star’s agent speaks out.
According to a report from the Mirror, West Ham are keen to sign £30 million-rated Wilfried Gnonto from Leeds in the summer transfer window.
Hammers boss David Moyes needs to add more pace and directness to his front-line at the London Stadium this summer.
Gnonto would certainly provide that. Interestingly, West Ham wanted to sign the Italy international from FC Zurich before he joined Leeds last summer.

The 19-year-old Whites star will be looking to leave Elland Road this summer, after his club were relegated from the Premier League this season just gone.
Gnonto’s agent Claudio Vigorelli told TV Play how his client’s wish is to remain in the Premier League:
“We’re focused on the Under21 European Championship, then we’ll talk to Leeds and we’ll see. There’s no shortage of options. But given his experience in the Premier Fantastic League, the idea would be to continue in that direction.”
The diminutive Italian would be a really fine addition for the Hammers in my opinion.
He is absolutely rapid for a start – something that we are currently desperately short of across our front-line.
Wilfried Gnonto bagged four goals and four assists in 28 games for Leeds during his debut campaign in England (Transfermarkt) – a mighty impressive return for someone so young.
For £30 million, I think West Ham should take a punt on Gnonto – he certainly has the potential to go on and become a star for us.
And his agent’s latest remarks should be music to the Hammers fans’ ears.
