West Ham United finally look set to make some headway in the transfer window with talks underway to make two new signings.
That’s according to well-informed West Ham insiders Claret and Hugh today.
West Ham fans have been growing increasingly concerned about the lack of arrivals ahead of a jam-packed season with European football.

Hammers squad in desperate need of fresh blood
West Ham are in desperate need of at least one striker, a centre-back, a midfield replacement for Jesse Lingard and – ideally – defensive midfield cover and a new goalkeeper.
Rumours have abound of late that the Hammers were struggling financially.
But West Ham’s hierarchy have always insisted there IS money for signings and that Moyes wants to continue to do his homework and get the right players – as he has done so well over the last 18 months.
Well there could finally be some good news on the transfer front on the way.

Finally good news on transfer front for West Ham as insider claims talks are underway for TWO new signings
That’s if Claret and Hugh’s new claim is correct with the insiders reporting that talks are underway for not one but two new signings.
Who the players in question are and what positions is as yet unclear, though.
“West Ham’s transfer business looks set to FINALLY get kick started this week with the Hammers actively working on two deals to get them over the line as soon as possible,” Claret and Hugh state.
“The club are being tight lipped on the actual positions and the targets being worked on but the stops are being pulled out to get one or both of the deals over the line.”

Pereira, Areola look good bets but centre-back could be urgent priority
Based on recent speculation there is every chance the potential signings could be West Bromwich Albion playmaker Matheus Pereira and goalkeeper Alphonse Areola.
But with Moyes waiting on the results of a scan on an injury suffered by star defender Angelo Ogbonna, perhaps West Ham have expedited a move for a centre-back with the new season looming large.
