West Ham are considering a move to sign Real Sociedad ace Adnan Januzaj in January according to a report from Polish media outlet Angiel Espresso.
And some Hammers fans have reacted to the speculation on Twitter.
West Ham boss David Moyes is a big fan of Adnan Januzaj.
The Scot gave him his debut at Manchester United in 2013 and then signed him on loan for Sunderland five years ago.
The 26-year-old winger is out of contract with Real Sociedad in the summer.
So West Ham may wait until then to pick him up on a free transfer. We may also try to snap him up in January for a bargain fee.
Either way, we think that Januzaj would be a solid addition to the West Ham squad.
Moyes clearly knows him very well as a person. The Scot has built his recent success with the Hammers on signing players who are not only talented but who possess the right kind of mindset as well.
And if the 58-year-old wants to sign Januzaj, we’ll back him.
He hasn’t been in great form for Real Sociedad this season with just two goals and one assist to his name in 17 games (Transfermarkt).
The Belgian ace does have genuine talent, however. He is technically gifted and has experience of playing in the Premier League.
West Ham fans react to Januzaj January rumour
The 26-year-old would certainly provide more competition and cover in the wide attacking department at the London Stadium.
Some West Ham fans took to Twitter in reaction to the report linking the Belgian with a move to East London:
