The 22-year-old is an incredibly important player for the Hammers.
In fact, he is far and away the most vital cog in the West Ham machine.
David Moyes bases his entire team and playing style around Rice in the middle of the park.

He absolutely indispensable at the London Stadium. So it is little wonder why the West Ham fans were so worried when the 22-year-old was ruled out of the England games through illness.
Flu can put you out of action for quite some time of course. So it was just a question of how bad the Declan Rice illness actually was.
Declan Rice fitness update
The Hammers star is ready to return to action against Wolves at Molineux on Saturday according to club insiders Claret and Hugh.

Phew….
West Ham cannot afford to lose Dec for any time at all this season, such is his importance to the team and the way in which we play.
A win at Wolves and we could climb level on points with league leaders Chelsea, should they fail to pick up a result away at Leicester in the early kick-off on Saturday.
Having Rice available for selection will be a huge boost for Moyes, Dec’s teammates and the fans.
