Jurgen Klopp sees Origi as a backup striker and at 26, the Belgium international may well see his future lying away from Merseyside.

And we think that the Liverpool attacker would be a very smart January transfer window addition for West Ham.

He can play anywhere along the front-line, is willing to put in a real shift and has proven that he can produce the goods at the very highest level.

Origi scored a goal in the Champions League final back in 2019 so he certainly knows how to perform on the biggest stage.

The Liverpool hitman possesses a real burst of acceleration and perhaps if given regular game-time at West Ham, everyone would start to see the best of the Belgian.

Origi has five goals and two assists to his name in 10 games for the Reds this season (Transfermarkt).

The Times reckon that Liverpool want around £25 million for the 26-year-old. In this day and age, that is actually very good value for someone with Origi’s quality.
