Hammers boss David Moyes will be desperate to bolster his centre-forward ranks at the London Stadium in January.
The Scot needs to bring in more competition and cover for Michail Antonio as a matter of urgency.
West Ham should be prioritising the addition of a new striker. If we are going to finish inside the top four this season, bringing in a new centre-forward in January will be a prerequisite.

And it seems as though David Moyes has a plan up his sleeve to address that issue.
West Ham chasing Julian Alvarez
El Intrasigente reckon that the Hammers’ have the young South American firmly on their radar.
Alvarez has been on fire for River Plate so far this season with 15 goals and six assists to his name in just 16 games (Transfermarkt).
He possesses blistering pace, is strong in the air and on the ground and plays with typical Argentinian heart and passion.
The Argentina international seems to be a generational talent and what an exciting addition he would be at the London Stadium.

The 21-year-old is valued at around €25 million (£21 million) according to El Intrasigente.
For a striker with his talent and potential, that seems like fantastic value to us.
The big problem for West Ham is that the likes of Real Madrid, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan are chasing his signature as well.
