Jamie Redknapp has shared what he told West Ham skipper Mark Noble about Aaron Cresswell, when speaking to the Daily Mail.

The 31-year-old left-back has been absolutely brilliant for the Hammers over the past 18 months or so.

He has found a new lease of life at the London Stadium under David Moyes.

His defending has improved immeasurably whilst his delivery from set-pieces has helped transform us into one of the most potent teams in the Premier League.

At one point two years ago, may West Ham fans were suggesting that Cresswell was finished.

How wrong they were!

Jamie Redknapp tells Mark Noble that West Ham have PL’s most underrated player

Redknapp sat down for a wide-ranging interview with the Hammers left-back.

And he shared with Cresswell something that he told Mark Noble about him:

“I talked to Noble this morning and told him that I cannot think of a more under-rated player in the Premier League right now than you (Cresswell). Do you feel you deserve more credit than you get?”

I think that Redknapp is spot on here.

Cresswell has been in truly sensational form for West Ham this season.

The Liverpool born ace has transformed his own game but also helped the Hammers evolve as a team.

It’s quite baffling that Gareth Southgate hasn’t called him up to the England team.

However, as long as he keeps producing the goods for West Ham, his time will surely come again.
