West Ham United allegedly could make a €15 million (£13 million) bid for Atalanta right-back Joakim Maehle.
That’s according to a report from Corriere della Sera Bergamo edition (print edition July 6th, page 8) who claim that Atalanta would accept an offer in that region for Maehle.

West Ham manager David Moyes has reportedly been chasing the 25-year-old Dane all summer long.
The Scot has to make at least four or five top-class additions between now and the end of the transfer window if the Hammers are to compete on all fronts next season.
If we’re being honest, the addition of a new right-back will be well down on Moyes’s list of priorities this summer.
Such is Maehle’s talent though, signing him this summer could be hugely significant for West Ham…
West Ham ready to make Maehle bid
Corriere della Sera Bergamo edition (print edition July 6th, page 8) reckon that the Hammers are ready to make a £13 million bid for the Denmark International – one that Atalanta would accept.
We think that Maehle would be a very good signing indeed for West Ham United.
He certainly would provide solid competition and cover for Vladimir Coufal.
The 25-year-old is quick, powerful and built perfectly for the robust nature of Premier League football.
Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel recently described his international teammate as a ‘machine’ (Goal).
£13 million for Maehle sounds likes sensational value to us.
Sure, signing a new right-back might not be at the top of Moyes’s priority list this summer.
But Maehle is a serious talent and we would love to see West Ham bid for the 25-year-old in the summer transfer window.
He would undoubtedly be a huge hit at the London Stadium.
