West Ham boss David Moyes has warned Man City over Lucas Paqueta and lifted the lid on the truth about the Gianluca Scamacca exit.
Just one month ago a deal between West Ham and Manchester City for Declan Rice looked to be very much on the cards.
Now, having lost out to Arsenal for the former Hammers captain, Man City are lurking with serious intent for the club’s other star player – Lucas Paqueta.
Yesterday Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola remained tight-lipped over the move to sign Paqueta from West Ham.

West Ham boss David Moyes warns Man City over Lucas Paqueta and lifts the lid on the truth about Gianluca Scamacca exit
‘He’s a West Ham player’ was the most the Spaniard could offer up after reports the Hammers have rejected an £88m bid from Man City for the Brazil star.
But given he is West Ham’s player, David Moyes could afford to be a little more open about the potential deal.
So could his record signing Paqueta follow fellow 2022 summer signing Gianluca Scamacca out of the London Stadium as the champions ponder another bid?
Well the Etihad side will have to pay a high price if that is to transpire.

”Not anywhere near our valuation… and Scamacca didn’t want to be here’
Because West Ham boss Moyes has warned Man City over Paqueta and lifted the lid on the truth behind the Scamacca exit.
“We’ve had an offer from Manchester City,” Moyes told the press, as reported on West Ham’s website.
“But at the moment it’s not anywhere near meeting our valuation.”
That valuation is said to be as much as £95m according to a journalist speaking yesterday.
As for Scamacca, Moyes wanted to keep the Italian with the perma-frown. But the Scot says he simply did not want to be here and refused to do his injury rehabilitation in England.
“We liked the boy and we are disappointed it didn’t work out,” Moyes added.
“But he didn’t want to be here, he didn’t want to be in England, and he had all his rehabilitation in Italy when we wanted him to have it here.”
