There has been a major update on a double West Ham striker move from a David Sullivan confidant after exciting links to Folarin Balogun and Elye Wahi.
After signing Edson Alvarez and with West Ham closing in on further midfield and defensive recruits, the next priority will surely be striker.
With Gianluca Scamacca having been sold to Atalanta and 33-year-old Michail Antonio also linked with a move away, West Ham are desperate for a new striker or two.
So it is no surprise the Hammers have been linked with a host of forwards.

Young, highly-rated forwards being linked with Hammers
And two names being heavily linked with moves to West Ham are Arsenal forward Folarin Balogun and Montpellier’s Elye Wahi.
This morning it was reported that West Ham are one of the frontrunners for wantaway Gunners striker Balogun.
And 90 Min has claimed West Ham technical director Tim Steidten is pushing to try and sign supremely talented Wahi.
Both players are hugely talented young prospects. So many West Ham fans have welcomed the prospect of signing one – or indeed both.

Now there has been a major update on a double West Ham striker move from David Sullivan confidant after exciting links to Balogun and Wahi.
And it seems supporters should not get carried away.
Sean Whetstone, who counts vice-chair Karren Brady and majority owner Sullivan among his contacts, says West Ham WILL NOT be signing either in the summer transfer window.
“West Ham will NOT be pursuing Folarin Balogun from Arsenal or Elye Wahi from French Ligue 1 club Montpellier this summer,” Whetstone said.

West Ham can’t go into a season with ageing Antonio and Ings as strikeforce
Whether that means West Ham might have one eye on the strikers for next summer – perhaps beyond David Moyes’ tenure – remains to be seen.
One thing is for sure West Ham simply MUST bring in at least one new striker.
Antonio turns 34 next season and Danny Ings – who is no spring chicken at 31 and seriously lacks pace – has looked a terrible fit in the Moyes system.
West Ham have also been linked with the likes of Armando Broja and Hugo Ekitike.
