Hammers News have collated all the latest updates regarding potential incomings and outgoings at West Ham United on transfer deadline day.

Transfer deadline day is finally upon us, and West Ham seem to be moving ever closer to completing what would be the perfect transfer window.

Julen Lopetegui has worked wonders at the London Stadium this summer, but the West Ham head coach needs to make at least one more top quality signing, if he is to guide us to success on all fronts this season.

The Hammers fans are ecstatic right now about what the future holds for us, and Lopetegui has insisted that he’s after even more new signings.

However, the Spaniard will have to get rid of some of the fringe players first, before he can even think about making any new signings.

And there are certainly plenty of ins and outs on the agenda today.

So what’s the current state of play?

West Ham 7pm transfer deadline day roundup

Some bad news to start, with Manchester United apparently attempting to hijack our move to sign Carney Chukwuemeka from Chelsea (Sky Sports).

Better news now though, after it was confirmed that Carlos Soler is in London undertaking his medical.

Hopefully we’ll get a deal for the Spaniard done before tonight’s 11pm deadline, and who knows, maybe one more will follow him as well.

James Ward-Prowse is currently undergoing a medical ahead of his move to Nottingham Forest, despite the fact that Everton tried to hijack the deal.

Meanwhile, Celtic are said to be showing an interest in signing Andy Irving (Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph).

In addition to that Nayef Aguerd is said to be in talks with La Liga side Real Sociedad about a season-long loan move to Spain (Jacob Steinberg).

Incredible West Ham transfer window

It doesn’t get much better than this does it.

If we get the Soler signing over the line, that will be nine fantastic new additions made by Lopetegui this summer.

The Hammers are a proper outfit now, and it could be argued that the only thing we’re missing is a pacy striker.

West Ham still have time left to change all of that, or is that just greedy? Maybe so, but Lopetegui has raised everyone’s expectations at the club this summer.

And the West Ham 7pm transfer deadline day roundup proves just how active we still are in the market.
